More About Me...

My name is OraMarie Mapp, and I am currently in 9th grade. I grew up in Athens, Georgia, and I am blessed with two wonderful and supportive parents, along with a sister who is an incredible role model in my life. As a homeschool student, I have learned how to manage my time well and stay committed to my responsibilities. I have a passion for creating, baking, and serving others, and I work hard to fit these interests into my schedule. Serving others is especially important to me because making a positive impact in people’s lives has helped me grow into the best version of myself.

In 2019, I moved to Augusta, Georgia. When COVID began in 2020, it led me to DekelmPact, a homeschool co-op where I spent five years learning and growing. During my time there, I gained valuable skills and opportunities that I may not have received in a traditional public school setting. DekelmPact helped me develop confidence, creativity, and independence. In August 2025, I began attending Liberty University Online Academy for the start of high school. LUOA has taught me intentionality, responsibility, and strong time-management skills. Transitioning from simply “getting the job done” to becoming more disciplined and focused has been a very positive and rewarding experience for me.
