Collaboration has played an important role in my growth as a student and creative individual. Through community involvement, leadership opportunities, and long-term participation in creative spaces, I have learned how to communicate effectively, share ideas, and contribute thoughtfully within group environments. Working alongside others has helped me build confidence, responsibility, and patience while also encouraging personal expression and creativity. These experiences have shown me that collaboration is not only about working as a team, but also about learning from shared spaces, supporting one another, and growing through meaningful connections.

Community involvement and leadership experiences have been important to my growth as a student. Through creative projects and hands-on programs, I have developed strong communication skills and learned how to contribute meaningfully in group settings. I have been involved in 4-H since 2022, where I have built confidence and leadership abilities, including winning a 4-H Speech Contest in 2024. I am currently a member of the 4-H Gardening Club, which meets on Saturdays and provides opportunities to work alongside others while developing responsibility, patience, and an understanding of sustainability.

Since 2021, the Augusta Mini Theatre has served as a consistent and reliable space for me to focus on my visual arts. Rather than focusing on rigid technical training, my time there has been dedicated to personal expression, providing a steady environment where I can explore my own creative ideas. While the setting is comfortable and familiar, it has been a valuable constant in my life for several years, giving me a dedicated place to go where I can freely express myself through my art. This long-term involvement has provided me with a creative outlet that allows for personal reflection and the freedom to create at my own pace.

The Morris Museum of Art Teen Council is a leadership program that connects local youth with the museum's resources and staff. As a member, I collaborate with a team of peers to plan museum initiatives and events that make the arts more accessible to students. Through this role, I contribute to community outreach and youth engagement, helping to promote arts education while gaining a deeper look at how a regional museum operates behind the scenes.
